Aide & Soins à Domicile de l'Arrondissement de Verviers and its service SAGàDom (Service d'Accompagnement Gériatrique à Domicile) offer integrated, multidisciplinary care in the home.
Our mission is to help people who are losing their independence to remain in their own homes, by providing high-quality care and tailored support.
SAGàDom's priority is the well-being and independence of its beneficiaries. It is aimed at people aged 60 and over who are faced with a loss of independence, bereavement, a complex situation at home or a difficult life event.
As part of our drive to strengthen our team, we are recruiting a psychologist to intervene at home in the Verviers district.
Your mission
You will carry out psychological interviews in the homes of elderly people, focusing on the following themes:
- Widowhood and mourning
- Preparing for the end of life and issues relating to euthanasia
- Anxiety and depression
- Support for carers
In addition, you will be responsible for coordination and monitoring:
- Contacts with doctors, families and carers
- Working with psycho-medico-social network professionals
- Drafting of reports and administrative follow-up
Your profile
You have a master's degree in psychology (clinical, neuropsychological, systemic, etc.).
You have at least 3 years' experience as a psychologist.
You must have a driving licence and a private vehicle
Your strengths :
- Additional training and/or experience in the field of ageing
- A good knowledge of the psycho-social network and the ageing sector in the Verviers district

- You have a genuine interest in the elderly population
- You enjoy working independently, while at the same time being part of a dynamic team

- You are a good listener and respect the pace of the people you work with

- A fixed-term contract until 31 December 2026 (extension possible)
