Who are we?
Aide et Soins à Domicile Liège - Huy - Waremme, in partnership with the Mutualité Chrétienne de Liège, provides and coordinates integrated, multidisciplinary home help and care services in the districts of Liège - Huy - Waremme. It promotes networking to meet the needs of patients/beneficiaries. To do this, it can count on the collaboration of more than 750 professionals (family helpers, nurses, care assistants, home nurses, coordinators, social household helpers, multi-skilled workers, nursery nurses, etc.).Your tasks:
SERVICE AT THE BENEFICIARY'S PREMISES- Housekeeping, in accordance with the instructions laid down by the social worker:
- Organising your work.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment (supplied by the beneficiary), and apply appropriate techniques.
- Adapting to the customer's habits
- For people losing their independence or experiencing difficulties:
- Be attentive to the beneficiary's situation in terms of hygiene and home adaptations.
- Encourage beneficiaries to develop, maintain or restore their independence.
- Listening to the customer's situation.
- Integrate its actions into a preventive framework.
- Working as part of a team under the supervision of a social worker
- Working with and passing on all relevant information to the team of household helpers and their social assistant to ensure continuity of assistance.
- To have an ongoing collaborative approach with all the DSA's departments and internal stakeholders, with a view to guaranteeing the continuity and quality of assistance.
- Working as part of an interdisciplinary home help and care team, and acting as a relay for other staff (within or outside the DSA) for any actions that go beyond his/her remit.
- Pass on any useful information to the social worker
- Get involved and take part in the partnerships developed by ASD.
- Promote and guarantee the functioning and values of ASD.
- To ensure that its professional activities are in line with its quality charter.
- To act in accordance with the rules of professional ethics, the duty of discretion, professional secrecy and shared secrecy.
- Comply with safety standards and apply basic rules to avoid health risks (accidents and illness).
- Complete the various administrative documents and comply strictly with the relevant instructions and deadlines.
- Actively participate in meetings (team meetings, coordination meetings, general staff meetings, etc.) and abide by the decisions made and/or actions to be taken.
- Actively participate in training courses (by assessing their needs and in consultation with their social worker) and ensure that the skills they acquire are put into practice.

- Demonstrate expertise in housekeeping (cleaning, tidying, laundry and ironing).
- Demonstrate the ability to work in an organised department and as part of a team.
- Know how to work in an interdisciplinary way, referring to other professionals for any tasks that go beyond his/her remit.
- Knowing how to adapt your work to situations in the home.
- Knowing how to work independently in the home, while respecting service guidelines, decisions taken by the team and beneficiaries in the context of their daily lives.
- Demonstrate the ability to observe, reflect, analyse and pass on information about situations encountered.
- Developing a sense of human contact, listening skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Be able to react in the event of an exceptional situation.
- Be rigorous in following administrative instructions.
- Respect the rules of professional ethics, the duty of discretion, professional secrecy and shared secrecy.
