The Federation for Home Help and Care (FASD) brings together and supports the nine Home Help and Care centres (ASD) active in Wallonia, in the Eastern Townships and Brussels. As the network’s umbrella organisation, its purpose is to establish a collective action to support home care, in line with the practical realities on the ground as reported by each ASD.
In 2025, the’the culmination of the «Missions-Vision» project» and the adoption of the agreement ASD–FASD collaboration initiatives have made it possible to to clarify and consolidate the roles of the FASD.
This shared framework reaffirms an organisational structure based on two complementary pillars:
on the one hand, a coordinating role that incorporates the collective representation of people with learning disabilities with public authorities and partners, as well as the coordination of inter-ASD dynamics.
on the other hand, the organisation of shared services for the benefit of the ASDs.
